Man oh man, what a few weeks it's been. I'm feeling pretty ho-hum about creating anything at the moment. I hope that I'll come out of this slump with a rainbow of ideas. That is the reason there are no new posts here on this blogspot.
Maybe I have a case of writer's block. Maybe I'm feeling sorry for myself. Maybe I'm lazy. Maybe I'm feeling what everyone feels when they hit a creative wall. Maybe the plague would be better than this.
Come back soon, and maybe there will be lots of fantastic creations. Or maybe there will be boils and pestilance.
XO!

Miniature Maladies: The Vampiress

I've got quite a few of these ones. I'm posting pictures of this particular doll because the pictures I took of the other Vampiress' that I have are so god awful I'm embarrassed they can be seen by anyone but me. Oh well, I'm no photographer.
As you can see, this doll can be hung anywhere. But please don't hang her in sunlight. She didn't really want to become a Vampire, and she really hates blood. She needs a little special attention. She comes with a light silver organza bag and a sticker.
I imagine that if I was a Vampire, I'd probably not like the way blood tasted either.
Miniature Maladies: Alice Axed

Hmmm....I don't know why these images look so pixelated.Anywhoo, I now give you Miniature Maladies, the sub line of dolls from The Tiny Tragedies series. The differences are that these are free standing dolls, and instead of full on accompanying stories, they just have a few lines to explain who they are and what they're doing.
I'm really proud of these, and that's saying something! You can buy this one and others at my Etsy shop: www.thetinytragedies.etsy.com
The Alice Axed that's pictured here is my favorite of ones I've made so far. I think it's the slight tilt of the head. It implies a deep sadness. Sort of reminds me of a silent film. I work extra hard to make each doll unique so that even two with the same theme will be different.
Stop by and visit them in the Etsy shop!
The Tiny Tragedies' first reported image
So I paid an artist to draw up this image of the dolls, so that I could have some stickers printed. I excitedly awaited the arrival of the stickers, and when they came I was very pleased. So I trapsed down to my local Starubucks, and placed (not stuck) some of the stickers around the joint. The next day, this image was reported to MySpace for 'violent content'. I didn't know whether to be offended or proud! Well, mostly I was offended. It seems like they completely missed the images of some of my other dolls who have axes in their chests, or who are committing murder.
I guess everyone has become immune to the vast numbers of 14 year old girls who plague MySpace with their sexually inappropriate photos?? I dunno, and I don't really care.
Check back soon, I'll be adding bunches of new pictures of the dolls!
